Pandora

Pandora has pursued a life long interest in plants through continous study with the Royal Horticultural Society based in the UK.  Pandora certainly shares the RHS vision to enrich everyone's life through plants and trees, and so keep Belize a green and beautiful place.  She shares the ethos to safeguard and advance the science, art and practice of horticulture for the benefit of the environment and future generations. Pandora strives to delight her clients with exceptional service and high quality products.

Pandora has also contributed to Belize society by donating her time, energy and many plants to charitable projects.

The Nursery

Pandora's Windowbox Nursery

The Nursery consists of a tree plantation, several covered nursery sections, and a mist house.  The Nursery's plants and trees are grown in an ecologically friendly manner, with minimum reliance on chemicals and maximum use of organic materials and botanical media. Designs are carefully conceived to provide effective colour and cover the year round, and to deliver the required quality with the minimum of maintenance.

Community Projects

Pandora's Windowbox Nursery Community Projects

We have been helping the children from St. Martin de Porres Elementary School, with organic gardening project.   Phase one is to kill weeds and any soil borne pathogens by solarization, a non chemical method.   The children learn gardening skills while introducing a healthier diet. We  donated the organic media, the plastic, marigolds and paints.   The produce will be incorporated into the feeding programme the school offers for some of the children.
